Pyeloplasty surgery used to correct the condition named UPJ (ureteropelvic junction). This condition can obstruct the urine flow to come out from the kidneys through the ureter. The main issue of OPJ is that it blocks the urine flow which comes out from the kidney into the ureter. The ureter is a tube that attaches the kidney to the bladder. The obstruction occurs where the kidney is attached to the ureter i.e. ureteropelvic junction.
